Education and Research: Testing Hypotheses (EARTH)
Project Manager and Lead Scientist: George Matsumoto
George Matsumoto will continue to maintain and upgrade the EARTH website and conduct a teacher workshop. The topic for this year’s workshop will be ocean observatories, with a focus on MARS and its instruments, such as Eye-in-the-Sea. The 2009 workshop will be held in late June in Monterey in association with the National Marine Educators Association Conference.
