Acoustic Sediment Tracking Array

An array of acoustic receivers that measure acoustic signals passively will be deployed on the flanks of Monterey Canyon. The sensors will listen for sediment transport events in the upper canyon. This project is exploratory in that there is virtually no information on what the acoustic character of such events might be.
