Aquarium-MBARI Partnership (AMP)

Work continues on upgrading all components in the microwave link between the remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. MBARI staff will be collaborating with the Aquarium exhibit designers on plans for new exhibits. MBARI science staff and marine operations are working to accommodate Aquarium requests for ROV and ship time in a challenging year given demands from the Gulf of California expedition for R/V Western Flyer time and the Monterey Accelerated Research System (MARS) for R/V Point Lobos time.
