Long-term broadband seismic observatory in Monterey Bay

Pending National Science Foundation approval of funds, MBARI will be connecting the Monterey Observatory broadband seismometer, a current meter, and a differential pressure gauge to the Monterey Accelerated Research System (MARS) cabled observatory. The interfaces developed will serve as blueprints for the connection of a number of analog, simple serial, and complex serial devices to cabled observatories in the future.
