New in situ instruments
Chemical sensor program
Project Manager and
Lead Scientist: Ken Johnson
Lead Engineer: Luke Coletti
In 2006, a prototype ammonia sensor based on the Johnson lab's DigiScan design was successfully developed. In 2007, a more robust version will be designed and built using simpler hardware for longer-term deployments. A new postdoc will be working on an instrument to measure total CO2 (TCO2).
