Development of an eddy flux system for benthic flux measurements

Project Manager: Jim Barry
Lead Scientist: Ken Johnson
Lead Engineer: Andy Hamilton

The eddy flux project made remarkable progress in 2006 with several successful deployments, that recovered realistic estimates of oxygen flux. The effort in 2007 will be on additional deployments, particularly in hard-rock substrates where benthic chambers do not provide an alternative for measuring oxygen flux, and on improved data processing to reduce noise issues.
