Chris Harrold will serve as MBARI's chief point of contact at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Plans for 2007 are to continue to work on the upgrade path for the microwave link, to collaborate on a new MBARI exhibit at the Aquarium, to support the Aquarium's husbandry research on deep sea animals through use of MBARI ship time, and to look into the feasibility of a joint symposium in 2008. MBARI's education strategic planning also continues into 2007.
