Regular sampling of the upper water column along two long transects in Monterey Bay using a Dorado AUV equipped with instruments to measure temperature, salinity, oxygen, fluorescence, optical backscatter, etc. will support the research programs of Chavez, Ryan, Johnson, and Haddock.
