Funds have been provided by NOAA to build a mooring system to turn around the existing M0 (CIMT) mooring. Funds have also been provided to support the deployment and testing of ESP in the vicinity of M0. The  location has proven interesting for scientific and development purposes. Strong blooms leave a carbon dioxide imprint that is difficult to explain. Close proximity to shore, plug and play capability (allowed for testing of pumped microcats when idea developed), and available power (not fully utilized) make this platform an optimal development platform. Plans for 2005 are to upgrade software and hardware based on experience from first deployment and potentially add a second bin to test distributed controllers, accommodate additional sensors, and utilize available power.
