Several SIAM features will be developed or improved in 2005, including:
- Support for multiple observatory nodes—surface and benthic
- Vertical profiler service
- Implement autonomous event detection experiment for Shepard's Meander
- Simplified instrument service software development
- Simplified onshore utilities for PUCK* management and node configuration
- Implementation of embedded instrument PUCK*
- Instrument services for BiOSA and ESP
- Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements
