MBARI Moorings (M1 and M2) continue to provide time-series data collection and also to serve as platforms for specific scientific investigations and sensor development. The major milestones in 2004 will be the local mooring turnaround dates— M2 in early April and M1 in mid-October. The build and fabrication of the new Oasis 3 controllers will also continue in 2004. Periodic maintenance trips to service M1 and M2 will be scheduled every 3-4 weeks.
