Joint projects – MBA/MBARI

This JPC (joint projects committee) proposal focuses on collaborative projects between the Monterey Bay Aquarium (MBA) and MBARI. It reflects the resource needs for 2003 and, where information is available, projects future needs. MBARI and MBA have signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding, with Randy Kochevar (MBA) and George Matsumoto (MBARI) serving as the primary liaison for their respective institutions.

Year 2003 projects include working with MBA on the closure of Mysteries of the Deep (scheduled for November 2003), the revision of the multi-media auditorium program Exploring Monterey Canyon, aquarium education programs, joint intern activities, and some collaborative research projects.
