2002 Projects

MBARI projects for 2002 can be categorized into the following research themes. Benthic processes, midwater research, and upper ocean biogeochemistry are science-based projects;  MBARI ocean observing systems and instrumentation and sensor development are technology-based projects; and, information dissemination and infrastructure support provide the information management, outreach, and infrastructure necessary to ensure widespread access to MBARI research.
