The Division Structure
MBARI is a unique place for research and development of oceanographic technology and the application of that technology towards scientific missions and goals. The Research and Development Division brings together the cultures and capabilities of ocean scientists and engineers to create working teams that develop new technologies for the advancement of knowledge about the world's oceans.
