Davidson Seamount expedition

This expedition to Davidson Seamount is jointly funded by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The object is to use mooring and ROV observations for exploring and explaining the distribution of slowly-growing coral colonies over seamounts. Both Jim Barry and Dave Clague will be involved in the science and outreach aspects of this expedition.
