MBARI hosted its annual Open House event and invited the public to learn more about the institute’s science, engineering, and marine operations endeavors. On July 29, visitors had the opportunity to attend talks by MBARI staff, learn about our research and development initiatives, take a virtual tour of our vessels, walk through the machine shop, and get a closer look at equipment and technology used by our marine operations staff.
