MBARI has launched an entirely new version of our website, with expanded access to our data, technology, and research projects. The site uses a content-management system with a responsive design that makes it easier for visitors to view MBARI web pages on mobile devices. It also incorporates dynamic links to keep divisional and other web pages updated with the latest information about MBARI.

The new site is the result of a two-and-a-half year project involving more than a dozen staff members who contributed their skills on every aspect of the site. The team clearly defined the audiences and goals of the website, with the help of a consulting firm, before diving in to migrating and creating content. The site will continue to grow as new content is created in coming months. If you have bookmarks to MBARI’s old site, you may need to update these to work with the new site.
