Scuba Diving
Diving from any of MBARI’s ships, workboats, or platforms must be approved by the Director of Marine Operations, Vessel Master and the MBARI Dive Safety Officer.
- A written dive plan should be submitted 15 working days prior to departure.
- All divers scheduled to participate should be prepared to show proof of required certification.
- The science party is responsible for bringing aboard all diving equipment, and must remove all equipment at the conclusion of the cruise.
