Sarah received her Ph.D (Temporal Genetic Diversity in Phytoplankton in the Gulf of Naples) from Open University, UK, an MSc (Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity) from Imperial College and the Natural History Museum, London, and a BSc in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool. In 2007, Sarah has been conducting postdoctoral research at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, Miami.
