Micro Applications run under VxWorks, and provide an interface between users and the micro (IBC, three-by-five, etc).
A micro application performs the following functions:
Monitor Data Manager items for user input (power switch requests, etc.)
Periodically sample micro data and write to Data Manager (temperature, humidity, current, etc.)
Aperiodically read and process Service Requests (SRQs) from micro (Micro resets, water alarms, etc)
