I study ecological relationships between small animals that live in the top few inches of marine sediments (infauna), and larger invertebrates and fishes that live on the seafloor or just above it (megafauna). I conduct habitat characterization studies in benthic ecosystems using quantitative underwater video and by collecting field samples.
