Ceramium
This website was created to concentrate knowledge about the unique and widespread red algal genus Ceramium. The genus often has striped branches due to special growth patterns, among other special morphological features. Ceramium species are commonly found around the world in a variety of environments, from brackish water estuaries to subtidal marine environments.
