Light Microscopy

Light microscopy was used in order to visualize cultured samples of Pseudo-nitzschia australis and Pseudo-nitzschia multiseries. Though the pennate shape and the propensity of these diatoms to maintain overlapping valve ends was certainly visible, not much detail can be observed.
