
A spectacular seaweed and fabulous member of the Fucales order, Cystoseira
osmundacea is a beautiful example of a brown alga, and can often
be found in beach rack near suitable habitats (the Monterey Peninsula,
for example; head to the nearest coastal access and check it out!).
