Pacific Forum – 3:00 p.m.
What does a remote South Pacific island have in common with a Northern Ontario town and you? History tells us that if we want to make wise decisions for the future we need to look back in time, try to understand it, learn from it and apply what we learn to the future. History both recent and not so recent is full of environmental disaster stories. What can we learn from these sad tales and how can we apply their lessons to today’s world?
Well my home town of Sudbury in Northern Ontario, Canada has done just that.
Visit with me this once devastated mining town and see what its citizens have achieved.
