Nature & Science through Art & Design

Wednesday – June 6, 2007
Pacific Forum – 3:00 p.m.

What do children’s books have to do with science? Using the creativity of art and design and the science of nature, concepts and ideas can be communicated successfully to various audiences—from children to adults. Kirsten, as a biologist and scientific illustrator, is using creativity and science to connect people with nature. She will highlight projects she has worked on with educators, scientists and writers, and talk about the future of nature and science through art and design.
