Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful by referencing its location on earth. Although Google Earth has great satellite imagery, the real power of Google Earth is the same as the power of Google search: providing access to information other users have created. I'll show some of the creative applications that users have developed using Google Earth and discuss how it can be used to view and publish science data.
