The project continues the one begun last year and aims to complete any remaining integration and testing. During 2005 the focus will be on supporting the initial use of this vehicle for science missions. The project will also include efforts and purchases supporting archiving and disseminating the multibeam, subbottom, and sidescan data collected, some project-specific development of data processing software, and the acquisition of equipment required for proposed Mapping AUV operations in the Gulf of California in 2006.
