Instrumentation
We have developed and deployed a laser Raman spectrometer (DORISS - Deep Ocean Raman In Situ Spectrometer) and a Precision Underwater Positioner (PUP) in the deep ocean. These instruments are deployed from MBARI's remotely operated vehicles ROVs).
