The public is invited to learn more about the history and recent discoveries related to the USS Macon
at four public presentations sponsored by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary:

Subject: Join the expedition team to learn about the history of USS Macon a "flying aircraft carrier" lost off the Big Sur coastline on February 12, 1935 and the recent expedition conducted by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute to survey the deep-water wreck site.
