Adjustments to FLOATViz data
It is occassionally necessary to correct data observed with Float sensors for obvious problems, such as sensor drift.
These corrections are documented here.
Oxygen concentrations from deployment on August 31 to Sept. 16, 2008. An incorrect oxygen calibration file was used in the FloatViz system at deployment. The corrected version was substituted on Sept. 16 and all profiles reprocessed. |
All nitrate concentrations appear to be biased high by 4 micromol/L due to an error in the sensor calibration. Comparison of the first ISUS nitrate profile to the CLIVAR I06S Stn 46 nitrate profile made when the float was launched shows the constant offset. Before use all float 5146 nitrate values should be reduced by 4 micromol/L. ![]() |

All nitrate concentrations were recomupted to correct for an offset in the wavelength range that arose due to a firmware change on the float ISUS. These changes will now be applied automatically. January 25, 2010. |

All nitrate concentrations were recomupted to correct for a lag between temperature measurements and nitrate measurements that caused spikes in the reported nitrate. August 23, 2010. |
