to communicate climate risk
Wednesday, June 14, 2017
Pacific Forum—3:00 p.m.—special time
This seminar will focus on science communication and the increasingly important role of scientists as communicators. Drawing from social science research, this seminar will look at ways to increase public awareness of climate change impacts and solutions as well as provide best practices for facilitating behavior change. Examples from the work of Climate Central, an independent, non-profit research, and journalism organization committed to sharing the science and impacts of climate change, will be shared.
