Map of the original destinations. Weather has forced some changes to the cruise plan.

Jenny Paduan writes:
We departed at exactly 14:30 from Moss Landing. We are steaming now NW for Pioneer Seamount, 100 nautical miles from Moss Landing. We've had to modify our plan due to gale force winds farther offshore, and will be diving for the first two days, possibly more, at Pioneer. The weather forecast says it should improve to the west by Tuesday. Today it has been blowing 25-28 knots, the swells are about 5 feet with scattered whitecaps, and it was gorgeous and clear. We just saw a green flash at sunset!
