The 10-week MBARI Summer internship program is open to educators and college students (undergraduate and graduate level). Information about the 2010 internship program is now posted and applications are due on February 10, 2010. Applicants will be notified by March. There are no application forms other than the material listed below.
Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and an online supplemental information form. The cover letter must include a statement of your specific research interests, complete contact details (phone numbers and email address, if available), and relevant coursework and grades received. Potential projects are posted online (and will be updated as new projects are conceived - so check back if you don't see one that appeals to you right away) and applicants MUST indicate project preferences in their cover letters.
