Dataset exploration

  • Oluci Dataset: This is a lab-based dataset that shows the growth of Ostreococcus lucimarinus (a pico-eukaryote phytoplankton) under gradients of nitrogen and phosphorus availability.
  • Growth Dataset: This is a field-based dataset that includes many different calculations of phytoplankton growth and mortality rates, as well as whether that mortality was due to predation or lysis from viral attack. This was generated from the CANON experiments last fall.
  • For each spreadsheet, there is a tab describing the data and how it was generated, and then different tabs for the different subsets of data. For the “Growth_data” file, there are also some extra tabs of data-in-process, to demonstrate some of the steps of getting from raw data to the final set. Both files also contain plots to visual the data.
