External Shiptime Request Form

Requesting Shiptime

External users are non-MBARI employees or adjuncts who wish to request MBARI ship time. Ideally, external users should submit their requests each year in June along with the internal MBARI proposals. However, whenever external users request ship time, they should complete this form.

External users requesting MBARI ship time should be aware that the California Department of Fish and Game requires scientific collection permits. These users should also consult the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary for regulations and announcements.
