Purpose: Collect animals with the MRS unit and deploy on MRS subsurface mooring; observe and collect midwater animals for behavioral and laboratory studies.

Equipment: Midwater tool sled, HDTV, 6 main lights, HFSS, 4 detritus samplers on tool sled swing arms, MRS and MRS deployment arm (first dive), CTDO plus transmissometer and fluorometer, Coolpix, Low-Light Camera and bottle brush. For the second dive, add upper d-sampler racks and 4 DMO d-samplers.
