CANON 2010 Fall Experiment
The first graph shows satellite data climatology illustrating the upwelling centers (cold sea surface temperature) and the warm Monterey Bay "upwelling shadow" (northern bay). The second graph shows how biological activity is enhanced (FLH is chlorophyll fluorescence line height, representing phytoplankton abundance). The third graph shows the many lines and symbols of the various research platforms, AUVs, and efforts planned for the experiment.
