This document briefly describes the fields in the BOG database for CTD samples. The data in these tables are primary productivity, physical, and chemical ocean data. There are two tables: BCTD bottle data and PCTD profiling data. The bottle samples are taken at 11 discrete depths, usually 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 150, and 200m. Profiling data are averaged into 1 meter depth bins. For additional details see Methods and Materials. Data are processed using Seabird software. Data in these data tables are primarily from Monterey Bay, CA cruises. Also see BOG Projects.
