Figure 1. Map of the FEMUSE CTD cruise tracks,
Monterey Bay, California. See data section for a list of stations
and locations. |
Preliminary results for shipboard CTD profiling and bottle CTD
data, temperature, salinity, sigma theta, conductivity, transmissivity,
fluorescence, chlorophyll, phaeopigments, primary productivity,
productivity index, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate, O2.
There were a total of 61 stations on which CTD casts were
made.
FEMUSE CTD Layers
Contours of parameters from the CTD samples. Data are extracted
by depth (0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 150, 200m) and plotted using
SURFER, where the data have been interpolated with the Kriging
method. Data points are designated by black dots.
Please note the data points, as contours may have been interpolated
beyond the points where data were collected.
Vertical
Profiles
Vertical profiles by depth for individual stations. There
are 9 graphs per page. These graphs were produced using MatLab, except for
the Primary Production graphs which were created in Sigma Plot. The
primary production graphs are plotted by light level rather than
depth.
Maps of all the stations,
the chlorophyll stations, and the primary
productivity stations. Unfortunately the cruise track was not a line
or grid. As such stations are scatter far and wide and often stations
overlap each other making it difficult to plot clearly. In such a case
please use the station list.
