AVHRR

Background

NOAA-14 Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer provides a global coverage of sea surface temperature data. Images were produced from NOAA-14 AVHRR data for MUSE scientists to decide on real-time alterations to any courses they had developed during the 2-week experiment. Images were produced for the entire month of August and a week after the experiment in September. 
Original data were not included on the CD.  They can be obtained by contacting MBARI.  No processed files exist for AVHRR data.
